What a blessing to have grown up a Pirates fan in Pgh. in the 60's. Consistent greatness on display by #21.
Juan Marichal was So great .
His nickname was Tany, not Tony. But, they had to make it a more commonly known nickname.
#21 Forever
Great video. Such excellence and dedication
🇵🇷🇩🇴💪🏽
Roberto Clemente 🇵🇷 ⚾ predicted his life from early on .He accomplished everything at just 38 years.
Hate the Dodgers as an organization but love Freedie..
It’s 2024 now in American u can go to McDonald’s n speak Spanish n order in Spanish now English is not necessary anymore it’s great to hear different languages in America why can’t we be like Europeans speak English Spanish Italian n French n German why is America one language.
An amazing testimony of a great Man. God blessed us all with Roberto Clemente.
I remember seeing his 3,000th hit; I was 8 years old. My favorite baseball player of all time.
He belongs in the BASEBALL HALL OF FAME
He was absolutely phenomenal. Incredible player.
She’s gorgeous!
She’s gorgeous!
Ozzie, but no one is criticizing your strong English accent with grammatical mistakes and mispronunciations in many of your sentences.
Retire 21
I get bored to same look but im a Gemini ♊. Lindor coolest mlb ⚾ Mr.Smiles
Cia killed Roberto. They blew up his plane
Amazing Ivan rodriguez g.o.a.t
She is a terrible radio announcer for the Baltimore Orioles. I tried listening to her. With that high pitched voice it’s a big turn off.
Never stop smiling Francisco.
❤️💚💛🖤🏁🏁🏁
Go Tuve!!
Perez played a locally for Santurce, show up on December 1st and hit 10 home runs by January 15th. Peruchin would hit behind him. Clemente was already player/manager for San Juan. He had Mike Cuellar pitching for him and Orlando Peña out of the bullpen. Good competition locally back in those days. Ponce staked with Jim Hicks, Bernie Carbo, Fregosi, Pat Corrales. Caguas had Nate Colbert…..
I was a kid in the sixties and teen in the 70s. God the Reds were fun to watch. Tony's homer over the Green Monster onto Landsdowne Street off Bill Lee's eephus pitch was the highlight of the 75 WS. Thanks Big Dog!
Roberto was a great caring man,who had a heart for God!
❤🙏🏽inspiring story
What a great era for baseball.
Vitilla
I grew up in L.A and every time the Pirates came to town i got seats in the right field bleachers. And i saw the greatest right fielder in baseball. If he didn't play in a pitchers park he'd have the same stats as Willie Mays. Nobody had an arm like him.
I'm not knocking Clemente cause he was awesome, but Mays played in old Giants stadium in NY which was a graveyard for homerun hitters and Candlestick Park, that sheethole windblowing in to put balls that should have been out of the park back into play for easy fly balls. Mays earned his homeruns the hard way in very difficult parks and dont forget he lost 2 years to the military in his giant time in new york when he was young and prime.
Tremendo muchacho. Dios lo bendiga en todo sentido. Los prospere y mantenga muy sano directamente.
No Pirate Fan and Human being with compassion for the suffering in their heart will ever forget Roberto. Ever.
Roberto Clemente - 12 GG, 4 Batting Titles. The best $4,000 ever spent for a ballplayer.
Should’ve been home WITH HIS KIDS,& not gallavanting around the world, doing “good deeds”& being charitable!charity BEGINS AT HOME!& because he didn’t tend to home, his kids are now fatherless!
WTH are you baffling about? He was doing what his heart tells him to do. He was actually leading by his example and teaching his kids what it is to be a good and unselfish HUMAN BEING.
😂😂😂😂 LOCO COMUNISTA mudate
JUAN MARICHAL ONE OF THE GREATEST IN THE GAME. #🇩🇴🐐MARICHAL27HALLOFFAMER
It was a great moment for him and his family!!
Wonderful spirit! Appreciate you Mr. Rodrigez
En República Dominicana se juega con tapas de cerveza también (chapita) solo que con la vitilla es más divertido no solo porque se puede hacer diferentes pitches sino porque tienen mejor vuelo. Yo jugaba hasta con piedrecitas con mis hermanos 😂
I love this video.
His loss was incalculable. God gave him to us for a short time, then called him home. We are eternally grateful.
Charity begins at home, shouldn’t have gallivanted to Costa Rica,& because he performed“good deeds”,his kids are now fatherless

He was a catcher!
